For those who aren’t familiar with Miles Morales, the character was created by Marvel Comics’ own Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli six years ago for their Ultimate Spider-Man run. In the clip, you can actually see Miles asking another Spider-Man, “How many of us are there?” near the end of the trailer.

Into the Spider-Verse was written by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie) and is directed by Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey.
