If you haven’t seen G.L.O.W., better known as Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling on Netflix, do yourself a favor and check it out immediately. The comedy series, which is based on the actual wrestling company from the 1980s, is back and brighter than ever for Season Two.
Netflix has released an announcement trailer and it is everything an ‘80s-baby can love and appreciate.
G.L.O.W. features Allison Brie, Sydelle Noel, Sunita Mani, Marianna Palka, newcomer Shakira Barerra, and more as the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, getting ready and being excited for another romp in the squared circle.
Set to the tune of Michael Sembello’s “Maniac,” the characters are putting on their best wrestling attire in a locker room, while gyrating and dancing to the beat in anticipation for another tour on Netflix.
Comedian and celebrated podcaster Marc Meron also makes a cameo in the trailer as the boss behind G.L.O.W., Sam Sylvia.
Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, G.L.O.W. is executive produced by Jenji Kohan (Orange Is The New Black) and Tara Herrmann.
