"call us, Disney

With Disney's reveal of an absolutely staggering roster for the upcoming live-action treatment for The Lion King, we'll soon see Donald Glover and Beyonce portraying the iconic roles of Simba and Nala, with James Earl Jones reprising his Mufasa gig from the 1994 original.

But it appears that Migos, upon learning of the high-powered cast, was feeling a little left out of the culture. The group's chief, Quavo, aimed a tweet at the animation giant yesterday, seeming to submit the ATL trio for consideration as the cackling hyenas who dwell just beyond Pride Rock ("Simba, you must never go there.") Sadly, those roles are already taken. Eric Andre, Florence Kasumba and Keegan-Michael Key will portray Azizi, Shenzi and Kamari, respectively, in the new adaptation.

Had they been cast, it would have marked a jump small screen to big, following an appearance in the first season of Glover's critically-adored, Atlanta. But even Glover's recent star power probably can't swing this. Would have loved an ad-lib riff on "Mufasaaa," though. Too little too late, I suppose.
