Michael B. Jordan Will Host an Intimate Event to Benefit Lupus LA

Star actorMichael B. Jordan will will host the inaugural MBJam17, described as a "day of sports, music and family fun" to help support the nonprofit Lupus LA.

MBJam17 will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey. The intimate event will feature a carnival that will have basketball-themed entertainment, a variety of clinics, and interactive displays. Joining Michael B. Jordan will be stars like the LA Clippers' Blake Griffin and Terrence J.

Jordan knows the pain the disease can cause well. His mother, Donna Jordan, suffers from Lupus. Michael B. Jordan says:

This event is to celebrate the strength of my mother, Donna Jordan, who thrives with Lupus as a result of the incredible services provided to her by Lupus LA. I hope MBJam will raise awareness for those suffering with lupus and help us take steps towards finding a cure.

Lupus LA. is a healthcare organization that serves the needs of people who have the disease in the Los Angeles County area.
