The show is called Five Points, and it was created and written by Adam Giaudrone, one of the minds behind Being Mary Jane (which is also coming to an end.)

According to a press release, Five Points “is about five students at a South Side Chicago high school who each experience a life changing event from a different point of view.  It will take each of their unique perspectives to understand the truth.”

Speaking about the opportunity, Washington said “We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with Indigenous and Facebook in order to tell this important, thought provoking and compelling story.”

Five Points, which will have a 10 show run, will begin production this week.
