David Letterman’s Netflix-fueled talk show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, has truly lived up to its title. From his first guest, former POTUS Barack Obama to the youngest Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai — Letterman’s latest incarnation has been in-depth, funny, revealing and an education in how to present a guest with more than just whatever project they’re pushing.

This week’s new episode will feature more of the same, but with a hip-hop twist, as the iconic Jay-Z will appear on the Netflix talk show with Letterman. In this first look for Friday’s premiere of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, the Brooklyn MC breaks down to David Letterman just what makes a great rapper. He even throws in a bit of humor of his own by impersonating his fellow rap gods Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
