Season 2 of 'Storyville' is Here with New Tales from Hannibal Buress, Post Malone and More
Back by popular demand
Listen, we all know celebrities live stranger-than-fiction lives. Comes with the territory, really. I mean, when money and/or status are no longer of any consequence, life takes on a cartoonishly whimsical quality And sometimes those tales of impossible luck and dumbfounding fortune are best told through a lens as animated as the stories themselves.
Cue: a new season of our animated series, Storyville.
Presented in partnership with Mass Appeal and TBS, the sophomore run kicks off with a double feaure. First, a sobering account of how and why one should never run-up on Jay-Z and Beyonce during a photo-op, as told by Hannibal Buress, who’s likely still haunted by Hov’s stone-faced advice to “be cool” when he tried to snag a picture of pop’s royal family at a Vic Mensa album release party in NYC. In another, Post Malone recounts a pre-beef hiking trip in Big Sky Country with Justin Bieber worthy of his newfound rockstar status. It ends with a good meal and a long night in a mountainside Montana home.
Airing exclusively on TBS, Youtube and Facebook Watch, upcoming episodes will feature a collection of jaw-dropping of tales too real for live TV from the minds and travels of seasoned entertainers and their exceptionally bizarre encounters with other exceedingly famous people, including Common, DJ Nu Mark and Diplo, who shares a Watch The Throne testimony from a forced and eventually failed studio session with Kanye during his Mercer Hotel takeover.
The first two episodes are available below with new installments arriving weekly. Jump back to peep our pilot episodes with Questlove‘s outrageous Prince and Patti LaBelle run-ins. Stay tuned for the next episode.
