The Baduizm singer will be guiding model Slick Woods through childbirth. Woods, who serves as the face of Rihanna's Fenty brand, revealed the news in an interview with Elle magazine.

"She's a mommy role model. A mother I look up to, who kills her shit and is a boss-ass bitch," Woods said of Badu and why she wanted the singer to be her doula.

Badu has talked about being a doula on numerous occasions. When she appeared on the Desus & Mero show she said the following about the second job:

"I was studying and very interested in childbirth and it's a natural thing we've been doing for thousands of years...My job as a doula is to be like water. You're helpful to the mother, you're helpful to the father. You're helpful to the midwife..."

In related news, a couple of months back Badu addressed controversial comments she made about Hitler in an interview where she said she saw something good in him.

"I don't regret anything. I don't like to make people feel uncomfortable or bad. But people are very sensitive in this climate. It's very understandable. I totally understand. I get mad with them. I get it," Badu said to the Guardian. "But no. I would never take back a message of love. I'm sorry that it was misunderstood. But not sorry for saying it because it was from a place of love. And sometimes that happens."
