Get Into The Halloween Spirit With This Picture Of Eric Andre Dressed As Cardi B

Eric Andre has already won best costume for Halloween this year. The comedian decided to dress up as "Bodak Yellow" rapper Cardi B and took to Instagram to show off the costume. There is also this hilarious video of him attempting to recite the hook of "Bodak Yellow."

Cardi B has had a monumental 2017. Aside from recently getting engaged to Migos superstar Offset she also took the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Bodak Yellow." This marks the first time since 1998 that a solo female rap single has reached No. 1 on the chart. Prior to Cardi B was Lauryn Hill with her hit single "Doo Wop (That Thing)."

The victory is a noticeable one for rap music overall, considering the number of rap artists who have actually received the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. As BuzzFeed reports:

Between the chart’s inception in August 1958 and this week, 1,067 singles have earned the coveted top spot. But despite hip-hop’s enduring popularity, fewer than 75 of those singles have been by rappers. In his prolific career, Jay-Z has only topped the Hot 100 once — and later than you’d expect — with 2009’s ‘Empire State of Mind.’ Both Kendrick Lamar (with ‘Humble’) and Drake (‘One Dance’) are also one-timers while Kanye West has managed to fit two No. 1s under his belt (‘Stronger’ and ‘Gold Digger’). Nas has never broken through the Top 10.

When looking at women rappers the achievement is even more scarce, with Hill and Cardi being the only solo female rappers to earn the No. 1 spot.
