Guess What, Ball Bags? ‘Desus & Mero’ Have Been Renewed For A Second Season
The #1 show on late night has been green lit for another season on Viceland for next year.
Desus & Mero have saved Viceland. Is that too bold to say? I believe that THE KID MERO and Desus Nice have changed the game when it comes to entertaining during the late night hour. With their rapid-fire delivery, street sensibilities and comedic timing, Desus & Mero has been knocking out competition left and right.
As we get ready for fall sweeps, word on the curb is that Desus & Mero have been renewed for another season. The 30-minute nighttime talk show currently airs four nights a week, Monday through Thursday, at 11:00 p.m. EST. Featuring the Bodega Boys brand of humor with illustrious guests, Desus & Mero has already played host to the likes of Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and ESPN’s Jemele Hill.
Yesterday, Aug. 21, both Desus and MERO took to their Instagram pages to announce the show’s renewal, while thanking their “production family” in the process. Nothing else is know about what will be new for Season Two, but we do know that there should be a few extra zeroes added to the show’s budget.
Check out the guy’s posts above and below, while making sure to tune in to (or Tivo) tonight’s episode when it airs at 11:00 p.m. on Viceland.
