David Bowie’s Daughter & Widow Get Tattoos On Second Anniversary Of His Death
The late, great Starman’s daughter Alexandria Jones joined his widow Iman in marking the second anniversary of David Bowie’s death with a new tattoo.
Iman joined David Bowie’s daughter in a heartfelt tribute commemorating the second anniversary of his death from liver cancer with getting a pair of tattoos.
The still-gorgeous-supermodel added two photos to her Instagram account showing off their new ink. The first appears to be placed on Jones’ forearm and the second on Iman’s ankle. Jones opted to get a tattoo of a crescent moon wrapped around the words, “Daddy xxx,” followed by 1947-2016, while Iman opted for a tattooed knife with “David” written on the handle.
“You will always be part of us,” Iman’s photo captioned in honor of the music legend. Earlier in the day, Iman also posted a series of four black and white shots of the pair captioned, “My favorite love story is ours! #BowieForever #ForeverAndEver.” Hundreds of thousands of people around the world, including friends, admirers and fans are still paying tribute to the rock icon on social media.
In addition to the online love, HBO has released the documentary, David Bowie: The Last Five Years, which premiered on what would have been Bowie’s 71st birthday.
