The prank happened 25 years ago and Brian Posehn hasn't seen Dave Chappelle since.

Comedian Brian Posehn recently appeared on Conan, where he recounted a very hilarious story about the one and only time he pranked fellow comedian Dave Chappelle. The prank? A fake earthquake.

"We were living in Hollywood Hills right after the [1994] Northridge earthquake...so we would play pranks on people because we figured out that if we went to our second floor — if people were in our living room on our third floor — we could shake our windows really hard and it would shake the whole floor and it felt like an earthquake," Posehn explains before going into how he pranked Chappelle.

He recalls that the A Star Is Born actor was over at his home hanging with him and his roommate and talking about the Northridge earthquake.

"He's talking about the earthquake and how he's from the midwest but lives on the East Coast and was terrified by them. So me and my roommate gave each other the signal and we went downstairs and shook the shit out of the house," Posehn says. "And we go upstairs and Dave's gone. He went to the airport. We didn't even see him leave the house."

Apparently, the prank happened 25 years ago and Posehn hasn't seen him since. Upon retelling the moment, Posehn then apologizes to Chappelle for the prank.

Chappelle was recently in headlines after it was announced that he'd feature on T.I.'s new album.
