Alec Baldwin As Donald Trump Responds To Eminem’s Diss On ‘Saturday Night Live’
Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump returned to deliver the cold open sketch where he disses Sen. Bob Corker, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and rapper Eminem.
Saturday Night Live returned after a one-week absence and brought Alec Baldwin back to reprise his wonderfully award-winning Donald Trump in a cold open sketch. Bragging about how “great” his tax reform plan is during a “Trucker Hat Rally,” Trump can’t keep focus as he suddenly switches course to complain about the #TakeAKnee protests and being called a “f***ing moron” by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
“We love America, don’t we? That’s why I had Mike Pence go to the Colts game on Sunday and when those players knelt during the anthem I told him to get the hell out of there,” Trump said. “But don’t worry, we’re taking Mike’s Colts tickets and donating them to Puerto Rico. They just have to fly themselves to Indiana and book their own hotel. Because at some point, they have to start doing things for themselves.” At multiple points, Trump stops the rally to call Pence to make sure he’s staying true to the protest of the protest.
The key MVP was Mike Pence, whose random appearances at a Starbucks and a gay wedding, were some of the highlights of the skit.
Baldwin’s Trump hilariously ended the rally by responding to rapper Eminem’s legendary thrashing cypher verse from last week’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. “And finally, Eminem apparently did a freestyle rap on the Bet network the other day, and he rapped some very nasty things about me, and very soon I’m gonna release the response rap on the white entertainment network, HGTV. So, Eminem, watch your back.”
