Our Okayplayer And Red Bull Collab Crewneck Will Be A Jawn In Philly

Check out the special Okayplayer/Red Bull crewneck collaboration we did in anticipation of our Red Bull Sound Select event.

This crewneck collaboration between Red Bull Sound Select Present's 3 Days in Philly and Okayplayer features art inspired by Micah Rich (who also created the key visual for the event), which is located on the front chest part of the sweater. The garment concept is brought to life by designer Tae Lee. with the back design featuring text that celebrates a socially and politically PROgressive state of being. The back includes a large, all-caps "PRO," with words such as "Inclusivity," "Intersectionality," "Black," "Peace," "Love," "Joy," "Choice," Immigration," and many, many others accompanying it.

The mission statement behind the special crewneck is simple but explicit — inclusion.

Redbull's "3 Days in Philly" event will be ending with a soldout Okayplayer-curated show that features headliner Syd, St. Beauty, and Ravyn Lenae. Syd, the lead vocalist of The Internet, has had a banner year, having released her full length, self-titled album Fin in February. Ravyn Lenae is a smooth contemporary R&B artist known for her atmospheric tracks that feature her spare, poetic lyrics; she is currently supporting the launch of her 6-track March EP Midnight Moonlight.  St. Beauty comprises singers Alexe Belle and Isis Valentino of Atlanta who met while working in a vintage store in their native Atlanta, layering honey-drenched melodies over emotional lyrics that delve into the themes of life and love.
