Video: Gnarls Barkley "Who's Gonna Save My Soul?"
Posted by gingerlynn on Jul 24, 2008
Disgusting. Gory. Hysterical. Odd. Campy. What else would you expect from the oddest couple out there, Gnarls Barkley, and their latest video for "Who's Gonna Save My Soul?" Directed by Chris Milk, this video is something you've gotta see for yourself. My only beef is that there's a bit too much unnecessary talking. But yo, the heart? I love the heart.

After the shock value - the metaphors and imagery of this vid are explicit and creative as all hell. Much respect to Gnarls B. and the team on this one. Hopefully it will inspire others to push their creative brains and not go the simple route of showcasin'.

This is AB-solutely beautiful.
This is about the 5th time I've watched it*
This is what video was supposed to be about, not all that 'in the club' trash: it actually inspires*

What made this video excellent was the truthfulness behind the concept. The male character actually knew and admitted what was happening to him and what would possibly happen in his future. I can do nothing but applaud these Gnarls Barkley for making this video. Groundbreaking isn't even the half of it. Peace.
