Video: The Roots Picnic Webisode 1

The first of 4 webisodes from The Roots Picnic that went down in Philly last month. This one features commentary from Black Thought regarding putting the Picnic together as well as plans for its' future. You also get a sampling of all the goings-ons of the day. In other news, OKP was recently nominated for the jenkiest mic flag ever award (that shit wasn't even on haha). Check back soon for the next webisodes featuring J*Davey, The Cool Kids, and Esperanza Spalding. Shout out to ProCreate Pics for putting this great film work together.

These webisodes are also in conjunction with the Philadelphia edition of imeem's "Keys To The City" series which Okayplayer is presenting starting this coming Monday, July 14th.
