I'm feelin this one right here. Last night Theo and Christian Rich teamed up to put out this song, "Too Young." The production is type nasty. Naija is definitely doin' big things.

As we continue to wrap up CMJ, here are some more videos from last weeks shows. First we have Torae and Skyzoo performing "Get It Done" at Southpaw from last Friday. Despite technical difficulties, these two really killed that set, as did every other act on the bill. Follow me after the jump for a clip from Wednesdays SOB's show where Mickey Factz brought up Theo and U-N-I for U-N-I's "Beautiful Day( Remix)."
Damn, talk about a monster lineup on this remix. U-N-I's "Beautiful Day" was already one of my favorites from them, but it just got upgraded X 10. Evidence, Big Pooh, Aloe Blacc, Fashawn, Mickey Factz, Theo and Kes Kaos all lend verses to the remix. The song is fire, especially halfway through when the beat switches (2nd beat co-produced by N/A). In other U-N-I news, the video for their single "Soul Hop" will be debuting tomorrow and running all day on MTV2. It looks like it's going to be a real big week for Thurz & Y-O, congrats my dudes.

As we mentioned yesterday it features exclusives from Redman, Styles P, Joell Ortiz, Skyzoo, Torae, Blu, Fashawn, Theo, Cory Gunz, Stimuli, Emilio Rojas, Curren$y, Ced Hughes and more. The lineup is tough so download and enjoy. Follow me after the jump for the tracklisting and dl link.
Later on today we'll be posting a monster mixtape presented by OnSmash, Legend, DJ Nice, and Statik Selektah called "Back 2 The Basics (Leaders of The New School)." The tape features exclusives from Redman, Styles P, Joell Ortiz, Skyzoo, Torae, Blu, Fashawn, Theo, Cory Gunz, Stimuli, Emilio Rojas, Curren$y, Ced Hughes and more. So keep it locked at OKP for this one. For now the homie Legend sent over this track off the tape from Theo called "2055 (The Future)." EDIT: The Snippet (with just Mista Mista's verse) instead of the full version was uploaded by mistake, my bad. It's fixed it's Theo's song featuring Mista Mista and LJC
I meant to post this one last week but the okp mixtape output was a little too heavy. This week the good people at The Exactly bring you, "Your New Favorite Mixtape." I know the homie Zack Lee put a lot of effort into this one and it's laced from beginning to end with some of our favorite new artists in the game. The features include Pacific Division, Miguel, U-N-I, The Cool Kids, Theo, Travis McCoy, TiRon, Inverse, C.R.A.C. Knucles (Blu & Ta'Raach), Mickey Factz and many more. Follow me after the jump for the tracklisting and download link.
Yeah that's two free mixtapes in one week. Normally we don't go so hard with the the mixtape co-signs, but good music is good music and we'd hate to not share it with y'all. The kid Theo is premiering "The Birth" here at OKP. As seen from our other posts on him, we definitely think dude is on the come up. So vibe out this weekend to his latest effort with features from Skyzoo and J.A.M.E.S Watts. Follow me after the jump for the download link and tracklisting.
As we've been letting you know for a litle while now, OKP will be debuting Rhode Island's own Theo's mixtape this Friday. The joint bangs so def dl it when we drop it. For now, here's the latest leak Theo hit me with featuring Skyzoo, "Keep Doing Your Thing."
We got you all aquainted with our boy Theo in our 3-in-1 audio segment a few weeks ago, and the feedback was nothing but love. He released a snippet of his latest song "Sweetest Language (produced by Profit)" and since then I've been bothering him about leaking that full version to OKP. So today we are premiering it, enjoy. This dude is wild talented (yes that's him on the hook too), and his latest mixtape "The Birth" will be out on August 8th.
Today we have the third installment of our 3 in 1 audio segment (until a witty name gets thought of, we're rockin with that). This segment showcases music from a few artists we are fans of that may have flown under the radar and are deserving of some attention. To start off, we have our dude Skyzoowith "Start It All Over"featuring Emilio Rojas and Median, and produced by Black Milk. This joint is off of DJ K.O.'s upcoming release Picture This, dropping September 23rd in stores and online on Shaman Work Recordings. Next up we have another BK spitta Sha Stimuli , who along with Zoo have been killin it on the underground tip for years. Sha's song "My Life" features Block McCloud of Brooklyn Academy. Make sure you check for Sha, he has been droppin' one full mixtape a month for the entirety of 2008. Last but certainly not least is new comer Theoout of Providence Rhode Island. This kid is most definitely on the rise. Here we have his song "Say It Right" produced by Kris Fame. The song is guaranteed to be stuck in your head all weekend, but that's a good thing. Follow me after the jump for all three tracks.
