Bay Area heads, listen up! This Sunday, July 20th, come out to San Francisco's DNA Lounge for the first annual Rebel Summer Music Fest featuring Martin Luther, Cody ChesnuTT, Res, The Kev Choice Ensemble, with music by Philly's DJ Rich Medina!  The event benefits the Omega Boys Club and Street-soldiers.org, with special guests: Silk-E, Erk The Jerk, Codany Holiday, B'nai Rebelfront, Traci Bartlow Starchild Dance, and more.  Click here for tickets.  See the big flyer for more details after the jump.

Audio: Cody ChesnuTT's AfrObama

It's been too long. We've truly missed our man Cody ChestnuTT, but he's back with a serious heater of a song about Obama. Called "Afrobama: The Unified Party Anthem," Cody sets his message to an afrobeat rhythm with some ill electrified guitar and a chorus of supporting vocals to back him up. Even Fela would have given mad props on this one. Perhaps this is a sign of a new Cody album in the near future? We sure hope so.
