Listen To The Hip-Hop Loaded 'NBA 2K17' Soundtrack

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

With the 2016–17 NBA season not starting until October 25th, there is NBA 2K17  from 2K Sports coming out a month before then to hold you over, and to hold you over before that, the soundtrack for the video game was just released. The soundtrack was curated by Grimes, Imagine Dragons, and none other than frequent Drake collaborator, OVO's own Noah "40" Shebib. 40's contributions to the list are pretty easy to spot with OVO being very well represented. From PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Come and See Me," Majid Jordan's "Every Step Every Way," to a few different Drake tracks including "Hype" and "Pop Style," the list is Toronto heavy. There is also some of that good ole' unplugged Jay-Z with his Kanye West produced track "Heart Of The City (Ain't No Love)" off The Blueprint backed by none other than The Roots. There is also some Future, Action Bronson, Skepta, Outkast, The Internet, Diddy, SBTRKT, G-Eazy, and much more. Thirty nine tracks in total, rounding out at nearly two hours and thirty minutes. Give it a listen when you hit a music drought.

NBA 2K17 will be released on September 20.  In the meantime, listen to NBA 2K17's soundtrack via Spotify below.
