Domo Genesis x Evidence - Aren’t U Glad You’re U

Domo Genesis teams with Evidence on the follow-up to his Red Corolla tape, entitled Aren’t U Glad You’re U. The 8-track project is the first of the year from Domo Genesis. Fishdoll - Noonsense

Beijing’s own Fishdoll pilots an otherworldly sonic journey on her 9-track Paxico Records debut entitled Noonsense.

Among scapes of hymnal tides and bubbling sea foam, Fishdoll's voice is a channel through which guided meditation flows. Breezily forthright and expressly feathery, it delivers glowing incantations layered to the brim with intricacies and harmonic euphoria, awash with feminine spirit and divine light. As pretensions melt away and your memories are transposed into surreal tableaux, these beautiful, buzzing fantasies will take you to places that are a pleasure to consider. It's a journey that eviscerates space and time, aches with phosphor colors and leaves galaxies spinning around you-- til you wake up and find you fell asleep with the TV on again.

Buscrates 16-Bit Ensemble - The Gadget Files

Dishing up joints produced on Korg’s Gadget app, Buscrates goes somewhat minimal but no less funky on his latest offering entitled The Gadget Files. The 4-track release is an ethereal collection of beats plied with his signature “juicy analog goodness.” The lush set of tracks also conjures J Dilla’s percussion.

8 Track - REWIND

DMV collective 8 Track follows lead single “Child’s Play” and the follow-up “Circles” with their latest project REWIND.

"The album opens up with candid clips of us just expressing our current state -whether it was a simple as wanting to go to the record store, as relatable as rent being due or as profound as recognizing moments in which our lives changed. Rewind tells these stories of overcoming personal struggles like in 'Childs Play,' dealing with relationship issues like in 'BMW (Be My Woman),' recognizing social issues within society like in 'Family Ties' and just exuding confidence in 'Dope Game.' All of this being done in 8 Track’s genre-jumping fashion that they describe as the sound of the times we live in."

Pounds - Rules and Parameters

Rules and Parameters first made waves around Halloween of last year. The mafioso rap manifesto from Rochester MC Pounds is back in circulation following the video for his single “Francis Ford.” The 6-track EP combines gutter bars with soulful production, putting just a little more gas behind the street rap renaissance.

Broadcasting live from Brooklyn, Jay Alpha put in work with a live SP-404 set for Volume 5 of Radio Juicy’s signature series Juicy Jams. Packed to gills with all of the hazy, analog goodness you can handle, Jay Alpha’s 30-minute set exemplifies the beauty of lo-fi beat culture.

Logic Marselis - Super Audio World

Logic Marselis follows the stellar Illien Rosewell collaborative project Wally Renaissance with the decidedly more laidback and soulful Super Audio World. The 9-track release is a collection of playful instrumentals that rely on a handful of soul samples and found sounds.

Osage - AlgoRhythm Vol. 2

Good Food Music - After School Special

Rising producer Good Food Music takes listeners on a journey through his free-form sound with the arrival of the 21-track project entitled After School Special.

Hold tight as Good Food takes you on a ride from Boom Bap (Winter Glow, Natures Paradise) to Trap (Quiet Noise) to Dance (Fall For Me) to House (Northern Lights, Contemplative Tide) and some other places that don't fit any category (Natural Wonder, Transformations). No samples were used during the making of this piece, all the vibrations you'll hear were composed by Good Food himself. Open your mind and enjoy the ride.
