Weeks After The Controversial Cancellation Of A Show, Bounce Queen Big Freedia Reschedules In Mississippi + Announces 1st Annual International Twerk Day.
Big Freedia, the New Orleans' Queen of Bounce, has dropped a new Christmas themed EP called A Very Big Freedia Christmazz. Your Christmas just got more upbeat and in turn, much, much better. The very danceable EP features songs like "Rudy, The Big Booty Reindeer," "So Frosty," and "Santa Is a Gay Man." The EP runs five tracks long. Freedia's last studio album was 2014's Just Be Free. A few months back the 38 year-old Freedia pleaded guilty to underreporting her income and fraudulently receiving around $35,000 in federal housing voucher money. Freedia, who was facing a maximum sentence of ten years in prison, was sentenced to three years of probation and was ordered to repay the $35,000.
